Thank You

Seleca Robenolt would like to offer her thanks to everyone for your prayers and support over the last several months. She is so grateful for the encouragement she continues to receive from her Dreisbach family.

Rummage Sale

The fall rummage sale is coming! Save the dates, September 15 – 21, and gather your contributions, get out your recipe cards, and gear up for a week of work and fellowship!

This year, there is a NEW opportunity to support the sale. In recent years, we have received a lot of contributions on Sunday afternoon, so we need more strong folks to help move the rummage downstairs. After we set up tables on Sunday, the 15th, consider staying for some time in the afternoon to help transport contributions and begin unpacking boxes. We will have pizza to keep everyone going and finish up by 3:00 p.m. Thanks for all you do to support this outreach of the church.

VBS Wrap-Up

Everyone had a great time at “Camp Firelight” the week of Bible school.  We had 45 children registered with an average attendance of 41 each night.  Many thanks to all those people who worked behind the scenes and to those who donated food items and monetary donations.

Gordon Young, church member and local taxidermist, talked to the children about native animals to this area.  He had various animals on display as well as pelts for the kids to handle and they were able to hear many of the sounds each animal makes as well.  His presentation was well received by all.

The weeks offering totaled $381 and will be donated to Camp Koala.

Thanks to Diane Amabile and crew for setting up the auction and those of you who donated the gift items for the ticket drawing and the silent auction.  Thanks to all of you who purchased tickets and bought their silent auction items.  We made $1,599.

Thank you so much!!

Diaper Pantry

Dreisbach Consistory is exploring the need and options for starting a diaper pantry for both infants and adults in our local community. Please be on the lookout for more information as plans come together.  They are hoping to have everything in place to launch it in the fall.
