 Food Stand

Dreisbach will be having a food stand on May 16th & 17th at the public sale of Leonard & Barb Manbeck.  We are in need of helpers for each day, food prep, set up and clean up.  If you are interested, please call either Bev Chamra at 570-217-6426 or Judy Willow at 570-412-2814.  A donation list of items will be posted at a later date.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Rummage Sale

The robins are back and so is the Spring Rummage Sale!

Sunday, April 27th. Set up begins after church. We arrange tables and then receive rummage. A lot of donations come in on Sunday afternoon and we need help to get it downstairs and begin unpacking it. We need strong arms and backs for this phase of the sale. We will be serving pizza for lunch. Please stay if you can. We work until 3:00 or 4:00 depending on the line up of cars!

Monday, April 28-Wednesday, the 30th from 9:00 – 5:00, we continue to receive and set up rummage. Outside sales begin on Monday morning. Lunch is served every day provided by Dreisbach’s wonderful cooks.

Thursday and Friday, May 1 & 2, from 9:00 – 5:00 and Saturday, from 9:00 – noon the sale takes place.

Saturday at noon we clean it all up. Again, strong arms and backs are needed.

It takes many hands to pull this off, and we ask for your help in whatever way works for you. Of course, we can’t do it without the donations of rummage. We also need food to feed the workers and for the bake sale and soup sale. And we need your time. An hour or a day. Whatever you are willing to offer we gratefully accept.

There are many reasons to be involved with the sale. It is a tremendous time of fellowship and building community. It serves our local area by providing low-cost clothing and household goods to all. The proceeds support missions and outreach in the area and around the world.

A note on donations. If at all possible, please wait until Sunday to begin bringing donations. Please donate goods that you would give to a friend – clean and in good shape. We cannot accept televisions or baby equipment like car seats and cribs. Thank you for your support
